先日、ランスタッドのイン社長Paul Dupesと彼の息子さんと会ってきました。

ランスタッドは人材派遣事業など、3兆円以上の売上を出している巨大企業。人材サービス会社では、アデコグループに次ぐ世界第2位の蘭。インド法人は正社員1000名と契約社員はなんと60000人。

インド法人の代表を務め友人は、短期間でインド法人の黒字化に成功し事業を軌道に載せました。
まさにジュガールですね。

私が日本の企業に行っているクロスカルチャーグローバルマネジメント、
そしてインドの成功哲学ジュガールを友人にアドバイスをする機会があって、
2回のセッションで複数のアドバイスをさせてもらいました。
彼はそのアドバイスをすべて素直に実行し行動に移しました。

成功している人はよく学び、素直に吸収して、すぐに実践します。
間違いありません。
逆に学ぶことを嫌がり、できない理由を見つけ出し、行動しない。

3. What did you enjoy most in global leadership in India.

India is both the land of opportunity & is under construction. The fastest growing economy in the world with GDP at +7.5%, youngest workforce at average age 29 yrs old and fastest growing at +1million people per month coming into the 19-59 yrs old zone.

To keep up with the lighting speed of change in India, an effective leader must be agile & have a strong ability to influence and mobilize the organization towards a common goal. I enjoy the unpredictability of India, in fact I thrive in that environment.
This fast growing economy requires leaders to have the ability to influence and mobilize the large organization to move quickly towards a common goal.

4. How do you see India growing in next 10 years.

The World Bank predicts that India’s GDP will continue to grow at 7%+ annually for at least the next 5years. Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives to drive employment thru the “Skill India” program, and the effort to “Make in India” come at the right time for the country. Since India is under construction, to support the population of 1.3 billion people, infrastructure, energy, medical & retail sectors will boom in the next few years.
